Safety when transporting children



Statistics of accidents shows that children more of a back seat in comparison with the front passenger seat.
Children up to 12 years, as a rule, be transported in the back seat. Depending on age, height and weight during transportation must use child restraints or already installed in the vehicle seat belts. For safety reasons, a child seat mounted on the middle or farthest from the driver's seat rearward.
Children differ from adults is not yet fully formed muscle and bone structure. Therefore, they are in an accident are at greater risk of injury. To reduce the risk of children should be transported only in special child seats.
The proper use of child seats considerably reduces the risk of injury.

A WARNING

For children of about 7 years and older, growing up to 150 cm and weighing 22 to 36 kg of the most comfortable car seats (skid cushion) in conjunction with bias-lap belt (Fig. 1.23).
