Wheels and tires

NOTE
When you replace a disk or replace the tire valve sure.

Tires and rims are important elements of car design.
Installation and repair of tires requires special tools and skills. This work should be performed only by specialists at the service station.
For safety, the tires on one axle can be changed only in pairs. Less worn tires must always be placed on the front wheels.
In all wheels should be set only radial tires of the same design, the same size (the same circumference) and the same tread pattern on the right or left side of the vehicle. In the presence of the tread pattern, which determines the direction of rotation of the tire on the sidewall of the tire applied arrowheads. In this case, you should strictly observe the direction of rotation of the tire. This ensures optimal performance of the tires, improves traction on wet road surface, reduces wear and noise generated by the tire. If the tire is damaged, as a temporary measure can be briefly set the direction of rotation of the tire, given opposite.
Four wheel drive, in addition, all tires should be the same model of the same manufacturer. Otherwise, the viscous coupling in the transmission of the emerging differences in the speed of the wheels of different axles increase the share of thrust attributable to the rear axle. This can lead to breakage.
Various tread depth of tires of front and rear wheels, for instance as a result of wear is not as important. However, it is recommended to install tires with a greater tread depth to the front wheels if the front wheels tires are worn more than the rear, the length of the circle smaller and therefore rotate faster. As a result, there are additional transmission voltage and tire wear faster.
