NOTE
When assembling the need to replace the nut 2, 9 and bolt 3 (Fig. 12.29).

Using the screwdriver blade as a lever, remove the caps from the central part of the drive wheels.
Raise the vehicle and remove the rear wheels.

Remove the access panel located in front of the rear axle (see. Fig. 12.21).

Using a lifter VAG 1383A with adapter VAG 1359/2 to lift the lever rear beam

Install lifters VAG 1383A with adapters VAG 1359/2 under the arms and lift the rear of the beam so that the rear beam support device (see. Fig. 12.22).

Remove the nut 1 (Fig. 12.30), remove the bolt 2 and remove the shock absorber 3 from the slot at the rear beam.
Turn out bolts 1 (see. Fig. 12.22) securing the top of the rear shock absorber and pull out from under the wing of the car.
