Withdrawal



Using the screwdriver blade as a lever, remove the cap from the central part of the drive wheels.
On the car standing on wheels, loosen the bolts to the outer CV joints rear wheel hub.
Lift the rear of the car and fix on supports. Remove the rear wheels.
Reinstall the wheel bolts to secure the brake disc.
Remove the inner CV joint from the flange rear axle.

Remove the bolts and remove thermofilter main reverse gear (see. Fig. 11.7).
Remove the bolt the outer CV joint to the hub of the rear wheel.

Remove the screw 1 (Fig. 11.10) and remove the gauge 2 ABS.
Remove the nuts securing the straps connecting the exhaust pipes. Disconnect and soft wire fix on the back of the rear section of the exhaust system.

Support the rear wheel hub assembly adaptation VAG 1383 A (Fig. 11.11).
Plastic hammer beat out the drive shaft from the hub of the rear wheel.
In no event it is impossible to lower the car on wheels with the removed one or two drive shafts, as this will damage the wheel bearings. If you want to set the car on wheels and move it with the removed drive shaft instead of the shaft, set the outer CV joint and tighten the pivot bolt to 50 Nm.
