Clutch master cylinder

Withdrawal
Drain the hydraulic clutch.
Remove the washer and the pin head and the cotter pin hole.

Clutch master cylinder
Fig. 3.13. Clutch master cylinder: 1 - a pin with a head and a hole for the pin;
2 - washer; 3 - pin; 4 - the main cylinder; 5 - a nut; 6 - tube hydraulic clutch; 7 - an arm; 8 - Hose hydraulic clutch

Disconnect the hydraulic clutch master cylinder from the side (Fig. 3.13).
Remove the clutch master cylinder nuts.
Remove the tube clamp on the hydraulic clutch.
Hold the nut on the hose coupling, unscrew the nut on the tube.

Fastening clip (2) of the hose connections (3) and the tube (1) of the hydraulic clutch
Fig. 3.14. Fastening clip (2) of the hose connections (3) and the tube (1) of the hydraulic clutch

Remove the clip from the hose coupling and disconnect the hose from the bracket (Fig. 3.14).
Remove the tube clutch.
Disconnect the hose from the clutch slave cylinder.

Dismantling

Removing retaining ring fastening the piston clutch master cylinder
Fig. 3.15. Removing retaining ring fastening the piston clutch master cylinder

Remove the retaining ring piston (Fig. 3.15).
Remove the plunger and the piston assembly.
Remove the tape fastening the expansion tank, the tank itself and the cover.

WARNINGS
Be careful not to damage the surface of the master cylinder and the piston assembly.
Do not disassemble the piston.

Check
Check the pipe and the clutch hose for cracks and clogging.
Check the inner surface of the main cylinder for corrosion or scoring.
Check the cuff of the piston for wear or deformation.
Inspect the piston for signs of corrosion or scoring.
Measure the inner diameter of the bore gages the clutch master cylinder and calipers - outer diameter of the piston.

A WARNING
Measure the inner diameter of the main cylinder at three locations (bottom, middle and top) in two mutually perpendicular directions.

If the gap between the master cylinder and the piston exceeds the limit, replace the master cylinder and / or piston.
Maximum permissible backlash between the master cylinder and the piston - 0.15 mm.

Assembly
Before assembly, lubricate the clutch hydraulic fluid (brake fluid SAE J1703 DOT 3 or DOT 4) the piston and the cylinder bore diameter.
Install the piston assembly.

Setting
Connect the tube coupling from the working cylinder.

Location nut mounting tube to the hose of the hydraulic clutch
Fig. 3.16. Location nut mounting tube to the hose of the hydraulic clutch

Temporarily hand tighten the union nut of the tube to the hose, and then tighten it to the required torque so as not to twist the hose coupling (Fig. 3.16).
Place the tube in the bracket and secure it with a clamp.
Install the clutch master cylinder.
Before installation grease grease SAE J310, NGLI ?2 pin, washer and a pin with a head and an aperture under a pin.
Install the pushrod to the clutch pedal.
Fill the brake fluid in the master cylinder.
Bleed the hydraulic clutch.
