Inspect the exhaust system for damage, deformation, corrosion, or signs of leakage. Check reliability of fastenings and replace them if necessary. When repairing the exhaust system, use the following guidelines: 1. When removing the exhaust system, start with the rear of the vehicle. 2. Apply penetrating oil to facilitate removal of the connection elements. 3. Use new gaskets, fasteners and clamps. 4. Grease fittings solution prevents the formation of corrosion and facilitate removal.
