Check of hydraulic pushers

Check pusher spend in case of suspicion of a malfunction (claps, performance degradation). Warm up the engine for 2 min at engine speed 2500 min-1.

Stop the engine and remove the cylinder head cover. Press with a wooden or plastic rod with a rounded end of the pusher; wherein the cam of the camshaft to be rotated to the back of the pusher. If the free wheeling of a pusher is greater than 0.1 mm prior to the opening of the valve, replace the plunger. When installing a new pusher, pre-filled with oil and pumped, start up the engine no earlier than 30 minutes to prevent attacks on the valve piston.
