Disassembly and assembly of the engine

Install the crankshaft bearing caps of the crankshaft and the order of their attachment bolts
Fig. 3.2. Install the crankshaft bearing caps of the crankshaft and the order of their attachment bolts

Operations are not fundamentally different from those of gasoline engines. A special feature is the removal of a camshaft belt, belt high pressure fuel pump (pump) and the pump itself; These operations are described in the relevant sections. The necessary explanations are given in Fig. 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10.

Installation of pistons in the cylinder block
Fig. 3.3. Installation of pistons in the cylinder block 1 - dimensional group label piston; 2 - Label size group cylinder block

Installation of piston end
Fig. 3.4. Installation of piston end: A - the orientation of the rings during installation; B - breeding of piston rings; 1 - notch on the bottom of the piston must be oriented toward the valve timing; 2 - joint spring expander oil ring; 3 - lock the upper compression ring;
4 - lock lower compression ring

Details of the cylinder and a crank mechanism
Fig. 3.5. Details of the cylinder block and crank mechanism: 1 - top compression ring; 2 - lower compression ring; 3 - oil ring; 4 - piston; 5 - the piston pin; 6 - a lock ring; 7 - rod; 8 - connecting rod bearings; 9 - a cover of the bottom head of a rod; 10 - an arm; 11 - the block of cylinders; 12 - a lining; 13 mounting crankshaft rear oil seal; 14 - rear oil seal; 15 - a flywheel; 16 - back cover of the cylinder; -probka Holes 17 for draining the coolant; 18 - centering sleeve; 19 - the crankshaft;
20 - third-liner with thrust bearing shoulders; 21 - Cover the crankshaft bearing; 22 - insert crankshaft bearing

Measuring the height of the cylinder
Fig. 3.6. Measuring the height of the cylinder

Marking size groups of main bearing cylinder
Fig. 3.7. Marking size groups of main bearing cylinder

Tags size groups necks crankshaft counterweight on the ground, starting from the valve timing
Fig. 3.8. Tags size groups necks crankshaft counterweight on the ground, starting from the valve timing:
1 - code size group diameter crankpins of the crankshaft; 2 - Label size group diameter of the crank pin number 1; 3 - Label size group diameter of main journal number 1; 4 - code size group diameter of the crankshaft main journals

Assembling the connecting rod and piston group
Fig. 3.9. Assembling the connecting rod and piston group: 1 - number of cylinders for the assembly of a rod and a cover of the bottom head (must be oriented toward the oil filter); 2 - opening for lubrication; 3 - label size group of the piston (to be oriented toward the camshaft drive); 4 - insert a rod with a hole for lubrication; 5 - insert the cover of the bottom head of a rod

Measure the diameter of the piston
Fig. 3.10. Measurement of piston diameter: A = 62 mm from the bottom
