Removing and installing heater

Remove negative terminal from the battery. Remove the instrument panel. Remove the mounting unit in the vehicle (see. Fig. 8.17) and move aside harness. Remove the steering column mounting bracket to the cross and move the column to the side. Remove the mounting bracket of the steering column. Set in the engine compartment the hose clips, suitable for radiator heating, and disconnect hoses. Stop opening the radiator heater. Unplug the heater control cables. Remove the screws to the heater bulkhead, as well as mounting bolts or fan evaporator housing, depending on the equipment. Remove the heater and remove the air ducts. Clean the surface of the air ducts and heater. Install in reverse order of removal. Be sure to duct connection. Check the coolant level and ensure the normal operation of heating and ventilation.
