Replacing the rear wheel hub



Hub - molded unit, so to replace the bearing should be replaced with the hub assembly.

Lift the rear of the car, put it on supports and remove the wheel from the right side. Depending on the configuration, remove the brake drum or brake pads and guide the brake disc (see. "Brakes"). Remove the hub cap and remove the pin 2 (Fig. 5.19) 1 hub nuts. Remove the nut. Remove the rear wheel hub.
Installation Kit spend in reverse order, with the following.
Check the surface of the hub, the condition of the threaded portion.
Replace the cotter pin.
Before installing the cap fill it with grease.
Axial backlash of a nave, a proven indicator should not exceed
0.05 mm.
