Battery check
Required special tool: - Protective acid resistant lubricant, such as grease pole BOSH.
- Steel wire brush (for cleaning the poles and terminals).
- Hydrometer. Necessary spare parts:
- Distilled water.
Clean the battery terminals | - Clean the battery terminals and the terminals, and cover them with acid-resistant grease.

Check the electrolyte level | - The electrolyte level should be checked every 4 weeks.
 | Do not shine in the battery an open flame. Risk of explosion! |
| - The electrolyte level must be between the upper (UPPER) and lower (LOWER) marks.
|
- To top up, unscrew the plug.
 | To refill use only distilled water. |
