Removal and installation of the bearing hub
Cars up to 9/89 MY. and models of "universal" (not AWD) # Of clips two-component bearing hub on the cars to 9/89 MY. located in the brake drum on cars with rear disc brakes - in the brake disc. After each installation bearing play should be adjusted nut. Withdrawal | - Remove the brake drum or brake disc. See Chapter Brake System.

- Remove the liberated parts of the bearing.
- Wipe the viewing bearing race. In the presence of visible defects or wear of the entire bearing must be replaced. Do not disassemble the bearing without the need, if it is required.
- Remove the oil seal.
| - Knock the two outer races brass rod. This shift rod circumferentially different places in order to avoid skewing clips.

 | Do not use a steel rod that is not formed on a caged burrs. |
- In the case of wear and tear to remove the inner bearing race puller with standard pins.
|
|
Setting | - Always replace the bearing set (inner and outer race and the rolling body), even if only one is damaged clip.
- Visually check the pin for damage and wear and replace if necessary.
| - Evenly score -C- bearing race using a hammer and brass rod until it stops. Better to use a stationary press, if any, with the mandrel of appropriate diameter.

- Fill tapered roller bearing grease (lithium).
- Insert the inner bearing.
| - Evenly press in the new seal using a flat plate, not a hammer to strike directly at the packing.
|
- Coat the oil seal grease.
- Install the brake drum or brake disk and thus also insert an external tapered roller bearing, see chap. Brakes.
- Adjust bearing play hub.
- Screw wheel, given the label on the hub. Lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts crosswise with torque of 100 Nm.
