Replacing the transmission oil in the mechanical gearbox
 
   Lift up the vehicle.    Prepare a tray for oil, rags, newspapers and wrenches.

   Place a container to collect the oil under the drain plug in the sump of a mechanical transmission.  Remove the drain plug  (Fig. 2.18).   After draining the oil screw plug and tighten it.    Remove the speedometer driven gear.  Using a hand pump, or a syringe    funnel fill the gearbox recommended oil type.  Replace the drive mechanism of the speedometer and secure bolt.
