| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. On carburettor engines amplifier can be removed without removing the intake manifold and cylinder head. |
| 3. injection engines for access to the amplifier is necessary to remove the intake manifold. |
| 4. On carburettor engines remove the air filter (see Fig. Subsection 6.1.2). |
| 5. Disconnect the power steering pressure sensor, remove the power-steering hose bracket. |
| 6. Remove the master cylinder to the vacuum amplifier. |
| 7. Disconnect the hose of the vacuum amplifier. |
| 8. Disconnect the pushrod from the pedal, and remove the four screws securing the bracket to the amplifier. |
| 9. Remove the amplifier from the engine compartment. |
A warning  Do not damage the brake booster stud threads.
