Withdrawal | PERFORMANCE ORDER | | | 1. Set the parking brake. | | 2. Support the rear wheels of the bar. A warning
When removing the half-line can not move the car, as in the absence of longitudinal load may be damaged bearing.

 | | 3. To pick up a screwdriver and remove the protective cap 22 with the wheel hub (see. Fig. Forward drive (models with the engine in volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l)). | | 4. Unscrew the nut 21. | | 5. Remove the washer 20. | | 6. Loosen the wheel bolts. | | 7. To raise and establish on support a forward part of the car. | | 8. Remove the wheel. | | 9. Remove bolts 9. A warning
Bolts constant velocity joint (CV joint) to the flange of a semiaxis have heads with internal splines, so they require a special spline loosen the key. You can not use the hexagon, as this may damage the splines.

 | | 10. Pull the inner CV joint from the flange axis and remove the axle shaft from the wheel hub. If you have problems with taking out the half-axis of the hub, unscrew the bolt ball joint (see. P. 6 sub-section 9.1.5), to press the lever down and remove the suspension of the axle shaft hub. | | 11. Remove the gasket 21 (Fig. Forward drive (models with the engine in volume of 1.6 and 1.8 liters), on models GTi), if necessary. A warning
On models with engines of 1.6 and 1.8 liter diesel and 1.6-liter mounted vibration damper 18. When replacing the half-line, he must always be repositioned to the new shaft.

 | | 12. To beat out a spring pin 17. | | 13. Dilute the ends of the torsional vibration damper 18 and to remove it from the axle shaft 6. |
 |
Setting | PERFORMANCE ORDER | | | 1. Check the condition of adhesive tape to the inner surface of the torsional vibration damper 18 and, if necessary, replace it with a new one. | | 2. placed on the floor 18 torsional vibration damper in accordance with Fig. 7.3 (the size of a = 4 mm) and drive a new spring pin 17 (see. Fig. Forward drive (models with the engine in volume of 1,6 and 1,8 l)). | | 3. Remove the protective film and attach a new seal 21 to the inner CV joint (on models GTi). | | 4. Clean the splines of the hub and the half-line from dirt and grease molybdenum grease. | | 5. Insert the axle shaft into the wheel hub. | | 6. Tighten the screws 9 (see. Fig. Forward drive (models with the engine in volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l)) to 45 Nm. | | 7. Install the wheel. | | 8. Lower the vehicle to the ground. | | 9. Tighten wheel bolts torque of 110 Nm. | | 10. Install the washer 20. | | 11. Tighten the nut torque 21 230 Nm. | | 12. Install the cap 22. |
