Withdrawal

Protective covers can be replaced without removing the steering gear.

Removal in the following order:

- Hang out and secure the support struts front of the vehicle;

- Remove a corresponding wheel;

- Measure the apparent number of threads on the inside of the tie rod - is necessary for the correct installation of tie rod;

- Loosen the lock nut locking steering rod;

- Loosen the nut of the spherical rod end to the knuckle and ball joints using a puller, remove the hinge of steering draft from a rotary fist (Fig. 11.11);

- Disconnect the tie rod end from the steering rod;

- Loosen the lock nut of steering draft;

- Remove the clamps (Fig. 11.12) and the shifting of steering draft, remove the protective covers of the steering transmission and steering rod.
