Check the pressure in the crankcase of diesel engines AFB, AKN



Crankcase pressure checks should be carried out on diesel engines AFB with 154,592 rooms and rooms with AKN 031,890.

The engine number is located on the right side of the cylinder between the cylinder head and the fuel pump (Fig. 2.21).
Check the pressure of the crankcase is necessary every 60 000 km, in the presence of oil leakage. When checking the engine temperature must be at least 80 ?� C.
Remove the oil dipstick, instead a pointer to a pipe connect the device VAG 1371 and start up the engine at idle speed for at least 3 minutes.
If the pressure of crankcase gases exceeds 500 Pa, replace the separator with a seal.
