Replace the parking brake lever

The lever assembly, replace if worn or damaged gear sector or dogs. In addition, remove the lever is required to replace the adjusting rod in the case of damage to its thread.

You will need: the key "10" socket wrench "12".

1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery.

2. Remove the lining of the tunnel floor (see. "Removal and installation of facing of a tunnel floor").

3. Disconnect the wires from the switch with signal lamp parking brake (see. "Replacement of the switch signal lamp parking brake").


4. Remove the adjusting nut handbrake cable ...	... 5. Remove the two screws on the parking brake lever to the body panels and remove the parking brake lever.

6. Before installing the vehicle Grease gear sector arm and threaded adjusting rods.

7. Set the lever in the reverse order of removal, and adjust parking brake system (see. "Adjusting parking brake").
