Removing and installing oil pan



Stop the engine and wait until the engine and engine oil have cooled.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the lower protective cover.
Drain the engine oil.
Remove the front engine cover.

Remove the dipstick and the oil pan (Fig. 2.205).

Align the oil pan on cylinder block

Use Area, to align oil pan on cylinder block from the engine front cover (Fig. 2.206).

Kremnievoorganichesky Apply sealant to the mating surface of the oil pan, as shown in Figure 2.207.

Tighten the pan in the order shown in Figure 2.208.
Check the oil level.
Start the engine and check for oil leaks. If you have a defective part, determine the leakage, repair or replace it.
