Replacing a faulty wheel



NOTE
About damaged wheels can indicate the following features.
- Increasing resistance to rotation of the steering wheel.
- Increased vibration of the car.
- Pull to one side.

In order to replace the damaged wheel, roll to the edge of the roadway and with caution, slowly move to the nearest horizontal area, remote enough safe distance from the roadway. Stop the vehicle on the roadway or on the side of the road with heavy traffic is dangerous.
Park the car on level ground at a safe distance from the traffic and fully apply the parking brake. Move the lever range switch ?�Park (P)?� (parking) (Vehicles with automatic transmission) or put the shift lever in first gear or reverse gear (vehicle with a manual gearbox), and stop the engine. Turn on the hazard warning lights.
Make sure that the passengers got out of the car, and are at a safe distance from the roadway. Remove the jack, tool, and spare tire. Place a front and back under the wheel, which is located diagonally across from the damaged, wheel chocks.
