Replacing fuses



Replacing the fuse in the unit, located under the glovebox.
In case of refusal of electrical equipment Check the fuse in the unit, which is located right under the glove compartment.
1. Turn the ignition switch and other switches to "Off".

2. Remove the cover (Fig. 1.199).
3. Turn the handle lock anticlockwise and lower the fuse box.
4. Use the table on the inner side of the lid define the slot in which the corresponding fuse circuit or the consumer.
5. Remove the fuse from the socket pliers, located inside the cover of the fuse box in the engine compartment.

6. Check the condition of the fuse. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one (Fig. 1.200).
7. Plug in a new fuse of the same value of nominal current. Check that the fuse is held tightly in the nest. If the fuse is inserted is not tight, refer to the service station official Mazda dealer for inspection. If the required spare fuse nominal missing temporarily use a fuse that protects the electric device that does not significantly affect the operation of the vehicle, such as a fuse from the slot ?�MIRROR?� (mirror) or ?�CIGAR?� (cigarette lighter).

Replacing the fuse box in the engine compartment (engine compartment).
1. If you are not running the headlights or other electrical equipment, and the fuses are located in the passenger compartment, are OK, check the fuse block in the engine compartment.

2. Remove the fuse box (Fig. 1.201).
3. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new, designed by the same amount of rated current.

NOTE
To replace the fuse ?�MAIN?� (main) refer to dealer or qualified Mazda.
