Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the bottom cover.

Remove the components in the order shown in figure 2.331 on page. 157.
Removing the exhaust manifold / exhaust manifold heat shield

ATTENTION
Excessive bending of the exhaust pipe can cause damage.

NOTE
When removing the exhaust manifold, a little take aside the heat shield of the exhaust manifold, loosen the nut and remove the exhaust manifold with the screen. Refer to the following procedure.

Remove the front wheels.
Remove the air filter cover and the air filter housing.
Remove pipe exhaust gas recirculation (from the intake manifold).
Remove the EGR valve.
Remove the steering shaft from the steering mechanism, remove the tie rods.
Disconnect pressure hose and return hose.
Remove the support of the engine ?��1.
Loosen the bolts of the heat shield of the exhaust manifold.
Take the heat shield of the exhaust manifold slightly to the side and loosen the exhaust manifold nuts.
Remove the bolts and the front cross member of the front stabilizer suspension.
Loosen the bolts and lower the front cross member front cross about 100 mm.

Attach the flexible pipe or fix, as shown in Figure 2.332.
Remove exhaust manifold together with the insulator lowered it to the bottom of the car.
