Make sure the battery is fully charged.

Connection to an ammeter and voltmeter to the starter

Connect a voltmeter and an ammeter starter, as shown in Figure 7.8.
Start the starter and make sure it runs smoothly.
Measure the voltage and current while the starter.
Rated voltage of 11 V.
Rated current: not more than 60 A.
If the voltage or current does not fit the description, and repair or replace components of the starter.
