Check the windshield wiper motor

Disconnect the connector of the windshield wiper motor.

Apply power to the positive terminal of the battery at the output E or D; terminal B to connect to the chassis ground, check the operation of the windscreen wiper motor as shown in the table.

Disconnect the positive terminal of the battery from the output E of the motor when wipers are operating.

Make sure that the windscreen wipers do not stop at the home position.

Connect terminals A and D of the motor and connect the output C to the positive terminal of the battery.

Make sure that the windscreen wipers are working again at a low speed, then stop in the starting position (Fig. 7.58).

If not, replace the windscreen wiper motor.
