Circuit breakers

Fuses are used to interrupt the circuit when the current exceeds a certain value, and to protect the components and wires, which can be damaged by too high current. The sharp increase of the current is typically caused by a malfunction in the circuit, often short-circuited. The fuse box is located under the dashboard on the driver side.
Each of the fuse protects your chain it belongs to a particular circuit is indicated on the fuse box cover.

Example serviceable and faulty fuses
Fig. 7.2. Example serviceable and faulty fuses

The fuse installed blade type fuses, the color of which corresponds to a current protection fuse. In case of any item of electrical equipment failure should first check the fuse. The fuse is determined by the presence of the wire conductor connecting contacts fuse (Fig. 7.2).

Special tweezers for extracting fuses

To replace a failed fuse switch off the corresponding electric chain, take a safety lock from a nest tweezers (Fig. 7.3).
If newly installed fuses instantly fails at pressure giving, check the protected circuit. If the safety lock protects some chains, they must be connected serially to a blown fuse on the defective circuit.
Heater and air conditioner consumes a large current, so the fuse box has a switch to protect their chains. If the circuit breaker opens, turn off the heater and air conditioner before you press the restart switch.
