Overview
Additional passive safety system (SRS) includes two main subsystems: - A system of airbags with gas generators; - Electrical system with shock sensor module and fault diagnosis.

Airbags are installed on the vehicle in the following locations: the hub of the steering wheel, the front panel (right side), front seatbacks (door side), front and rear-pillar, as well as along the edge of the ceiling above the side door openings. Airbags and inflatable curtains are installed covertly and are not visible until the response (Fig. 7.99 and 7.100).
