Removing and installing exhaust system



Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the main silencer.
Remove the middle pipe.
Remove the three-way catalyst.
Remove the upper heat shield of the exhaust manifold with the bracket.

Remove the 7 bolts of the exhaust manifold in the reverse order listed in Figure 2.224.
Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.
Remove the bottom heat shield of the exhaust manifold.
Remove the front oxygen sensors are heated.
Remove the rear oxygen concentration sensor is heated.

Removal of the oxygen concentration sensor heated by using a special tool

NOTE
Oxygen sensors to remove the heated using a special tool (Fig. 2.225).

Installation perform in reverse order.
