Removing and installing power steering pump

Remove the drive belt.
Disconnect the pressure sensor connector.
Disconnect the pressure line.
Disconnect the suction hose.
Remove the three screws and remove the power steering pump.

Install the power steering pump in a vice with soft sponges

Secure the power-steering pump, using a special device (Fig. 5.32).

ATTENTION
Use the special tool to prevent damage to the pump when mounting in a vise.

Lift the ear clip using a flat-blade screwdriver.

Remove the clip with a flat-blade screwdriver and a hammer, as shown in Figure 5.33.

Disassemble the remaining components, guided by the order specified in Figure 5.31.
