Build secondary valaf

Before assembly, check the condition of parts of the shaft, paying attention to the following:
- On the surface of the gear teeth are not allowed to wear or damage;
- Gear tooth contact pattern should occupy the entire working surface of the tooth;
- At the ends of the teeth of blocking rings of the synchronizer is not allowed considerable wear;
- Gear bearing surfaces should not have signs of wear;
- Coupling hub synchronizer should have no damage or jam, especially on the surfaces of the sliding sleeve;
- The surface of the balls, rollers, treadmills bearing rings must not be damaged.

Install synchronizer hub
Fig. 4.35. Install synchronizer hub

Oil the shaft and fit the needle bearing transmission gear I. I Wear the gear transmission and check up ease of rotation. Slide the synchronizer ring and press them synchronizer hub I and II programs, paying attention to the fact that the slots synchronizer ring positioned in front of crackers lock the sliding sleeve (Fig. 4.35). Follow this requirement when installing all synchromesh gearbox.
Install a ball retainer into the slot of the shaft, securing it with grease.

Measurement of clearance between the bearing half-rings and the spacer
Fig. 4.36. Measurement of clearance between the bearing half-rings and the spacer

Put synchronizer ring II transmission, gear and snap ring. Oil the lock ring and slide gear transmission III. Install the synchronizer ring III and IV programs, paying attention to the fact that the slots synchronizer ring is opposite lock the sliding sleeve of crackers. Install the second bead lock into the slot of the shaft and secure it with grease. Install the retaining ring and lubricate it with oil. Put synchronizer ring IV transmission gear then. Fit the V gear transmission. Check ease of rotation of the gear I, II, III and IV of the transmission (the sliding clutch synchronizers are in neutral position). Install the spacer and the support half-ring. Measure using a set of probes clearance between the bearing half-rings and spacer (Fig. 4.36). The gap should be no more than 0.1 mm. If the gap is longer, choose and install two support half-ring of greater thickness. Install two new tapered bearing.
