The system includes an electronic control unit (ECU), the relay preheating motor and sensors that signal the engine. The main indicators for the computer are the engine coolant temperature and engine speed. ECU is a microprocessor such as Nissan A93-F09A15 6215 with digital programming. The connector on the computer has 48 pins numbered 1 to 40 and 101 to 108 (Fig. 3.43). ECU is located in the passenger compartment under the center of the instrument panel (see Figure 3.44). ECU controls the air conditioning (if available), maintains optimum fuel injection timing angle and the engine speed at idle.

The structural diagram of the engine control unit (ECU) shown in Fig. 3.45. Pin assignment of the computer connector is given in the Table. 3.14. Accommodation units COURT shown in Fig. 3.46, electric scheme - an insert at the end of the book.
To gain access to the computer is necessary to remove the lower air duct heater, then duct supply air to the floor of the body, then the computer cover. Control lamp of inclusion preheating orange located in the instrument cluster.

The relay of inclusion of the preheating panel is attached to the front of the left wing in the engine compartment behind the battery. Computer connects to the "masses" relay control via terminal "106" plug computer connector. In the main circuit voltage is applied to the relay glow plug.
Pre-heating is carried out in two stages:
- Within 3 seconds after setting the key in the lock switch devices and the starter;
- Lasting from 3 to 20 with the coolant temperature is below 60 ? C after the switch devices and the starter switch to ?ON?; while preheating warning light in the instrument cluster lights up and goes off at the beginning of the end of the heating stage.
Postheating begins after starting the engine. The voltage on the glow plug during the preheating is applied for 20 seconds to 5 minutes (not more) as the coolant temperature remains below 60 ? C.
Winding resistance relay control 38 ohms. Glow plugs pencil, bystronagrevayuschiesya. 0.65 ohm resistance. Presence sensor key in the lock switch devices and is integrated into the starter switch locking devices and a starter. With the key in the lock sensor contacts are closed and 12 V is applied to output "30" plug computer connector pads. The electronic control unit includes a relay preheating.
The coolant temperature sensor is installed on the right side of the rear cylinder head. The internal resistance of the sensor is reduced proportionally to the rise in temperature of the coolant. Information from this sensor, use the computer, which determines the length of periods of preheating, the amount of fuel injection timing and issue a permit for the air conditioning and electric fans cooling system. The supply voltage of 5 V.
The solenoid valve control timing of fuel injection pump is mounted on and is controlled via the output "108" computer connector. The electronic control unit changes the timing of fuel injection depending on the coolant temperature and the engine speed of the engine. The supply voltage of 12 V.
Engine speed sensor mounted on the side opposite the pump label attached to the pump shaft. The sensor sends a signal directly proportional to pump speed, to output "17" blocks computer connector. For one pump shaft revolution sensor sends 37 pulses. Resistance measured between terminals "5" and "4" pump connector, 1.6 ohms.
Switch the air conditioner is in a relay box mounted on the right wheel arch in the engine compartment. ECU controls the inclusion of the air conditioning compressor through said switch and a pressure switch in the refrigerant air conditioner. This method of controlling air conditioner through the various sensors allows the computer to monitor the order to switch the air conditioning compressor does not cause an abnormality in the engine. Otherwise, the computer will not allow the compressor, especially when the temperature of the fluid in the engine cooling system exceeds 105 ? C at idle speed before to give permission to the compressor, the ECU increases engine speed via the solenoid valve to the regime fast idle speed. The supply voltage of 12 V. The resistance of the control relay coil 75 ohms.
Solenoid valve fast idle speed is set to bulkhead near the fuel filter. When the air conditioner is idling the engine control unit sends a signal to a relay which energizes the solenoid valve. He opens the vacuum line from the vacuum pump to the vacuum equalizer fuel supply. Vacuum corrector increases the idle speed to 800 min-1. The supply voltage of 12 V.
Relay refrigerant pressure in the air conditioning system installed on the dryer is located on the right side in front of the engine compartment. Relay delivers information via the output "8" plug computer connector. The supply voltage of 12 V.
Speed sensor of the inductive type comprises a pulse generator integrated in the speedometer drive on the gearbox casing. It produces a square wave signal amplitude of 5 V, the frequency of which varies in proportion to the vehicle speed. The signal is supplied to the control unit via terminal "16" of the speedometer in the instrument cluster.
