Cooling System
Fig. 3.21. Cooling System: 1 - a heater radiator; 2 - electric fans; 3 - fan shroud; 4 - vane fan; 5 - the radiator; 6 - a broad tank; 7 - high pressure pump with a device for starting a cold engine (CD20); 8 - a lining; 9 - the water pump; 10 - the water pump pulley; 11 - sensor coolant temperature; 12 - transfer tube cooling system; 13 - the coolant temperature sensor (engine control system); 14 - the thermostat; 15 - the thermostat; 16 - the coolant inlet pipe; 17 - the oil filter; 18 - an arm of fastening of the oil filter; 19 - water-oil cooler; 20 - mounting sleeve; 21 - cover

The engine used liquid cooling system of closed type with forced circulation. Composition of the system is shown on Fig. 3.21. Electrofans includes an electronic control unit (ECU), depending on the vehicle speed, coolant temperature and the air conditioner (if available).
Water Pump 9 centrifugal attached to the cylinder block is rotated and V-belt drives the power steering pump from the engine crankshaft pulley.
The radiator 5 is composed of vertically arranged aluminum finned tubes and plastic tank with coolant. Installed in front of the car.
The used coolant is: a mixture of 50% water and 50% antifreeze, can withstand temperatures up to -25 ? C. The pressure exhaust valve radiator cap 8-10 Pa.
Expansion tank 6 plastic mounted in the engine compartment to the wheel arch of the right. Aluminum water-oil cooler is mounted at the rear of the cylinder and serves to further cool the oil by circulating the coolant in the area of fastening of the oil filter.
Thermostat 15 is mounted in the housing 14 on the oil filter. Temperature of the opening of the main valve 88 ? C. Progress of the main valve at a temperature of 100 ? C - 10 mm. The coolant temperature sensor similar to that used on petrol engines.
The relay switching fan assembly disposed in the relay unit installed on the right wheel arch in the engine compartment. Power fan assembly consists of two identical fans that are included on the signals from the sensor. The temperature of the inclusion of the 1st fan 90 ? C, off - 83 ? C. Temperature of inclusion
2nd fan 105 ? C, off - 98 ? C

Location plugs drains cooling system
