Removal and installation of the water pump drive belt

Set to support the front part of the car, remove the right side of the wheel mudguard mud guard and right crankcase. Loosen the upper bolt of the power steering pump. Then, turning the adjustment screw to loosen the belt tension (Fig. 3.23). Remove the drive belt of the water pump.

Before installation, check the status of each of the belt pulley. Set the belt as indicated in Fig. 3.24, paying attention to packing it in streams all pulleys.
Adjust the belt tension screw so that the deflection by pressing the middle of the branch between the water pump pulley and the power steering pump force of 98 N for a new belt was 3-
4 mm for run of the belt 5-7 mm.
Tighten the upper bolt of the power steering pump. Follow the remaining operations in the reverse order of removal.
