Diagnosis of ABS

In the case of system failure may conduct diagnosis. Multiple units ABS can not be adjusted and in the event of failure replaced.

Numbering conclusions ABS computer connector
Fig. 7.23. Numbering conclusions ABS computer connector

Check the electrical circuits made on the ABS computer connector plug block (Fig. 7.23).
It does not connect extension cords screening devices (voltmeter or ohmmeter) to the computer connector plugs. To do this, remove the plastic protective cover from the pads connector from the supply electrical wires or use the adapter socket. Make sure that the pin numbering on the connector computer connector matches the pin numbering of the transition connector pads.
Before you replace the hydraulic unit, computer or other expensive machines, it is recommended to make a thorough review of the device using the ABS ?CONSULT? company Nissan.
In order to verify the ignition off, disconnect the plug connector ECU. All other connectors ABS system must be connected. Brake light switch is also not to be disconnected. Verification is performed in accordance with the Table. 7.2 and 7.3.

Before the diagnostics ensure the tightness of the vacuum amplifier, in the absence of compression brake hoses and tightness. Add a brake liquid in a tank system to a normal level. In operations with plug shoes, pay attention to the status of their findings, the presence of the spring locks and rubber gaskets.
Driving electric circuit of the ABS system is shown in the color tab at the end of the book.
