When work is guided by Fig. 9.49.
On vehicles with engine GA16DE to remove compressor drive belt is necessary to remove the drive belt of the water pump.
On vehicles with engine GA14DE CD20 and remove the bottom guard on the right side of the engine. Loosen the belt tension of the compressor by unscrewing the nut of the tensioning roller, then lower the adjustment screw. Remove the drive belt.
Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time, note the following:
- Correctly installed belt pulley streams;
- Correctly positioned belt accessories;
- Whether strung all belts;
- Tightened if the tension wheel nut.
