Removing and installing compressor

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Lift and establish on supports a forward part of the vehicle. Evacuate refrigerant from the air conditioning system. Remove compressor drive belt (See below.). Unscrew the fittings on pipes, suitable to the compressor, and then plug the pipes and openings to the compressor using the appropriate plugs. Disconnect the compressor clutch, then the temperature sensor. Remove compressor mounting bolts (Fig. 9.48) and remove the compressor from the bottom.
Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time, replace all O-rings and dryer. Change the oil in the crankcase. Fill the refrigerant air conditioning system. Make sure there is no leakage of refrigerant and air conditioner efficiency.
