The power supply system
The power supply system of the carburettor engine consists of a fuel tank, fuel pump, carburetor, air filter and fuel lines. Carburetors installed on vehicles may be single- and dvuhkamernye.Toplivny pump driven by the camshaft at engine working volume of 1,1 and 1,3, and at engines in working volume 1,6 and 1,8 liters - from the intermediate shaft .
Air dry filter paper element is provided with a removable device for automatically adjusting the temperature of air supplied to the engine.
Some engines are equipped with fuel injection system. This system consists of a fuel tank, fuel pump, installed near the fuel tank underneath the vehicle, and the actual production of fuel injection systems from Bosch and Volkswagen. Fuel injector continuously sprayed into the intake pipe where it is mixed with air and fed into the cylinder when the intake valve opens.
To fuel system of the diesel engine includes a fuel tank, the fuel injection pump (pump), injectors, fuel and air filters and fuel lines. In a diesel engine fuel injectors was injected directly into the cylinders at the end of the compression stroke. The necessary pressure creates a high pressure fuel pump. Some diesel engines equipped with turbochargers, these engines are called turbo engine. Turbocharger allows file into the cylinder more air for as long as the intake valve is open. Hence, the cylinder can vsprysnut more fuel and thus increase the engine power.
