Chain tensioner
 
    A warning    If the tensioner is reduced on the hexagon, it must necessarily be removed, except when screwing the control circuit will be too tight. 
    Withdrawal      4-cylinder engine 
     6-cylinder engine 
  |   PERFORMANCE ORDER  |  |   7. Remove the V-ribbed belt.  |  |   8. If necessary, loosen and move the air pump on top of the chain tensioner.  |

    ALL ENGINES 
 
 
 |   PERFORMANCE ORDER  |  |   9. Loosen the screw cover (1) by turning one turn using a socket wrench SW10.  |  |   10. Remove the chain tensioner in combination with the component (14) and remove.  |  |   11. Remove the screw cap (1) with a sealing ring (5).  Remove the compression spring (8) with a pin (7).  |  |   12. Push back the pressure pin (10) with a detent spring (9).  |  |   13. Details individually thoroughly clean fuel and check the further fitness for use (risk plaque).  Replace damaged parts, if necessary, replace the complete chain tensioner.  |

    Setting 
 
 |   PERFORMANCE ORDER  |  |   1. Screw the motor unit to the housing chain tensioner (14) with a new sealing ring (15).  Tightening torque 4-cylinder engine - 80 Nm, 6-cylinder - 50 Nm  |  |   2. Assemble the parts (7-10) as to their dismantling, and insert the mounted chain tensioner.  |  |   3. Replace the screw cap (1) with a new sealing ring (5) with a torque of 40 Nm, and the compressed spring.  |

    4-cylinder engine    A warning    Remove the locking pin from the camshaft flange. 
 
 |   PERFORMANCE ORDER  |  |   4. Install the cylinder head cover.  |  |   5. Remove the covering film from the generator.  |  |   6. Install hydraulic clutch fan.  |  |   7. Start the engine and check the tightness of the chain tensioner.  |

    6-cylinder engine 
 
 |   PERFORMANCE ORDER  |  |   4. Attach the air pump.  |  |   5. Put the V-ribbed belt.  |  |   6. Start the engine and check the tightness of the chain tensioner.  |
