High pressure fuel pump (pump)



Pump four-cylinder engine
Withdrawal
Before disconnecting the battery, check whether you have the code switch on the radio.
Switch off the ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.
Remove the top casing of a gear belt and cylinder head cover.
Turning the crankshaft in the direction of its working rotation of the pulley bolt, install the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead center (TDC), the label 0 has to be below the edge of the visible through the inspection hole clutch.

Set the adjusting device 2068A, as shown in Fig. 5.11.
Set the adjusting device 2068A size of 96 mm.
Rotate the crankshaft so that the TDC mark on the flywheel is aligned with the end of the line adjusting device 2068A (arrow B in Fig. 5.11).

Secure the camshaft in the position setting device 2065A in the groove in the end face of the camshaft (Fig. 5.12).
Set the device 2065A in the middle position as follows. Rotate the camshaft so that one end of the device 2065A came into contact with the cylinder head. An edge of the probe to measure the gap between the cylinder head and 2065A device with the other hand. Set both sides devices 2065A gasket thickness of each of which is equal to half the value of the measured gap device are arranged parallel to the plane of the head.
Remove the guide roller.
Remove the nut belt tensioner.
Loosen the tension of the toothed belt and remove it from the injection pump pulley and camshaft.

Secure the pulley of the fuel pump shaft in 2064 (Fig. 5.13).
Remove the pulley nut high pressure fuel pump.
A stripper remove a pulley of the fuel pump.
Unscrew connecting nuts and remove all the fuel from the fuel pump. Close the open end with a clean rag fuel.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the injection valve and the fuel shut-off valve.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel regulator.

Remove the front bolts of the injection pump (Fig. 5.14).
Remove the bolt back of the fuel pump to the bracket.
Remove the fuel pump from the engine.

Setting
Install the high pressure fuel pump and screw the back of the fuel pump to the bracket.
Bolted the front part of the high pressure fuel pump.
Install the injection pump pulley shaft and lock it in 2064 (see. Fig. 5.13).
Install and tighten the moment 45 Nm high pressure pump pulley nut.
Loosen half turn pulley bolt toothed belt camshaft. Through a hole in the back casing of a gear belt from the cylinder head with a hammer and punch knock toothed belt pulley with the taper of the camshaft.
Fully unscrew the bolt of a pulley of a gear belt and remove a pulley from a camshaft.
Make sure that the TDC mark on the flywheel is aligned pointer.
Install the timing belt on the injection pump pulley and tensioner roller.
Put the toothed belt on the camshaft pulley and install the pulley on the camshaft so that it could still be turned.
Set the guide roller.
Remove the pin from the pulley 2064 high pressure fuel pump.

Adjust the tension of the toothed belt. Wrench (for example, Matra V159) rotate clockwise the eccentric roller tensioner until the setting mark on the roller with the pointer (Fig. 5.15). Tighten the tensioner nut to 20 Nm.
Re-check that the TDC mark on the flywheel is aligned pointer.
Tighten the pulley bolt toothed belt camshaft belt to 45 Nm.
Remove tool 2065A with the camshaft (see. Fig. 5.12).
Turn the hand crankshaft two turns.

Remove the drain plug from the high pressure fuel pump and instead screw the adapter 3313 with a dial indicator (Fig. 5.16).
Set the dial indicator to 2 mm and tighten the adjusting nut on the adapter.
For the central pulley bolt to turn the crankshaft clockwise until the arrow until the indicator stops moving.
Set the dial indicator to 1 mm.
For the central pulley bolt to turn the crankshaft clockwise to align the TDC mark with a pointer or end line setting device 2068A.
Read the dial indicator, which shall be (0,7 ?� 0,02) mm.
If the reading on the display is not correct, adjust injection timing, turning the fuel pump.
Tighten the fuel pump to 25 Nm.
Remove the adapter and replace the drain plug, tightening it to a torque of 20 Nm.
Further installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal, taking into account the following.
Fill the fuel pump diesel. To do this, the hole for connecting the fuel return hose connected via a transparent hose length of 1 m and a vacuum pump to apply a vacuum. When the fuel in a transparent hose disconnect and reconnect the hose to the pump fuel return.
Connect a wire of "weight" to the battery.
Turn on the radio and enter the code.
Lift up the power window glass until it stops. Then click on all window switches again for at least 1, in the closed position of the control unit to activate windows.
Set the clock.
After separation of the various electrical connections in the memory control unit writes error information to be erased after installation.
Start the engine and check the tightness of supply.

Withdrawal
Before disconnecting the battery, check whether you have the code switch on the radio.
Switch off the ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.
Install the front transverse panel in service position.

Remove the bolt radiator fan with viscous coupling, keeping the axis of rotation of the fan the other wrench (Fig. 5.17).
Remove the left and right casings of a gear belt.

Remove the screws and remove the front section of the intake manifold (Fig. 5.18).
Remove the oil filler cap.

For pulley bolt, rotate the crankshaft in the direction of working rotation until the marking ?�OT?� (TDC) on the camshaft in the oil filler hole (Fig. 5.19).

Secure crankshaft in this position. To do this, remove the cylinder TDC sensor, and instead tighten the set screw 3242 (Fig. 5.20).

Remove the damper pulley of the fuel pump (Fig. 5.21). 2 nut fastening of a pulley of the fuel pump should not be unscrewed, because otherwise change the fuel injection timing.

Loosen the timing belt fuel pump and remove the belt (see. Fig. 5.24).
Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump.
Disconnect hoses of giving and fuel return from the fuel pump. Close clean cloth open hose ends.
Disconnect the fuel tube from the high pressure nozzles.

Remove the mounting bolts of the fuel pump (Fig. 5.22).

A WARNING
Chalk, markers or paint mark the direction of rotation of the toothed belt. After setting the belt rotates in the opposite direction, which may result in its destruction.

Remove the pump with high pressure pipes.
Disconnect from the pump pressure line.

Setting
Install the fuel pump and secure it with screws, tightening the bolts of the pump to the cylinder head to 20 Nm and bolts to the rear toothed belt to 10 Nm.
Install the pressure and screw them to the pump, tighten the nuts to 30 Nm.

Secure the pulley of the fuel pump pin 3359 (Fig. 5.23).
Set the pump drive pulley on a camshaft so that the bolts were placed in the middle of the elongated holes of the pulley. Tighten the screws so that you can turn the pulley on the pump camshaft pulley.
Install the timing belt pump.
Adjust the tension of the toothed belt pump, for which an Allen key, turn the tensioner anti-clockwise before combination of labels 1 (Fig. 5.24), and a second wrench to tighten the nut to 36 Nm.
Tighten the camshaft pulley to 20 Nm.
Remove the pin 3359, fixed pulley of the fuel pump.
Remove the set screw 3242, fixed crankshaft.
Turn the hand crankshaft two turns.
Recheck the tension of the toothed belt drive of the fuel pump and, if necessary, repeat the adjustment (see. Fig. 5.24).
Install the damper pulley of the fuel pump and fix its bolts, having tightened their moment of 20 Nm.
Replace the front section of the intake manifold, and fix bolts, having tightened their moment of 10 Nm.
Connect the electrical connector to the high pressure fuel pump.
Connect the fuel hoses.
Bleed the fuel system.
Establish a casing of a gear belt.
Connect a wire of "weight" to the battery.
Turn on the radio and enter the code.
Lift up the power window glass until it stops. Then click on all window switches again for at least 1, in the closed position of the control unit to activate windows.
Set the clock.
After separation of the various electrical connections in the memory control unit writes error information to be erased after installation.
Start the engine and check the tightness of supply.
