Radio

The factory is equipped with a radio pocket, through which facilitated the process of removal and installation.

When removing the wire of "weight" from the storage battery erased the memory of electronic control units and radio.

Standard equipment includes a car radio with coded anti-theft device which is made on the basis of the microprocessor. After disconnecting the radio from the vehicle electrical system (removal of the battery, the radio or the initial installation of the radio), you must enter the security code. The radio can be enabled only after entering the correct code.

Before removing the wire of "weight" from the storage battery, check whether you have the radio code. In the absence of the security code to put into operation the radio can only be a specialized service station Audi.

Withdrawal

To remove the radio, you must use two special key 3344 (Fig. 18.69).

Insert key in two narrow slits located on both sides of the radio to lock keys. The inscriptions on the keys should be placed on top. The key with the inscription ?�Top L?� should be installed on the left side, and with the inscription ?�Top R?� - right side of the radio.

For the head of the key, remove the radio from the slot (Fig. 18.70), taking care not to warp and pull it to the side.

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the radio speakers and antennas, as well as multi-pin connector supply voltage to the radio. If the connection is not used multicontact connectors before disconnecting mark them.

Setting

Remove the special key from the radio.

Connect the electrical connectors to the rear of the radio.

Insert the radio into the slot until it clicks into the dashboard of spring clamps.

Connect a wire of "weight" to the battery.

After installing the radio, enter the security code.
