Oil consumption

Oil consumption - is the amount of oil combusted together with fuel-air mixture. Oil consumption does not include the loss of oil due to leakage of engine lubrication. Oil consumption depends on the temperature and pressure during engine operation. On the oil flow is also affected by use of the vehicle and driving habits. The maximum permissible oil consumption - 1 liter per 1000 km of running a car.

A WARNING
Do not fill the engine oil above the MAX mark on the index (dipstick), as unburnt oil can get into the exhaust system and damage the catalytic converter.
