Setting

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
Before installing the pump, fill it with fresh liquid G 002,000.
When installing it is necessary to replace the sealing rings and clamps.
Tighten the pump torque of 20 Nm.

Fixing the suction (1) and pressure (2) hoses for vehicles with six-cylinder petrol engines
Fig. 14.46. Fixing the suction (1) and pressure (2) hoses for vehicles with six-cylinder petrol engines

Replace the pressure hose and fix its banjo bolt 2 (see. Fig. 14.46), tightened its moment of 47 Nm.
Screw bolts discharge tube to the cylinder head and tighten to 6 Nm.
Install the suction hose 1 (see. Fig. 14.46), and the P mark on the hose should be from the assembly seam of the pump (see. Arrow in Fig. 14.27).

Remove the hose clamps 3094.
Tighten the power steering pump pulley to 22 Nm.
Slide drive belt, acting in the counterclockwise direction, first at the crankshaft pulley and then around the tension roller.

Remove the steel rod fixing tensioner.
Install radiator fan pulley and secure it with a nut, having tightened its moment of 37 Nm.
Add fluid to the hydraulic system of the power steering and bleed the air.
Check the hydraulic system of the power steering for leaks.
Connect a wire of "weight" to the battery.
Turn on the radio and enter the code.
Lift up the power window glass until it stops. Then press all the switches window again, at least 1, in the closed position of the control unit to activate windows.
Set the clock.
