Checking and topping up the hydraulic fluid in the power steering reservoir



You will need: fluid power steering, clean cloth.

NOTE
The hydraulic booster tank top up only liquid DEXRON II-D or DEXRON III, recommended by the manufacturer.

The tank is mounted on a bracket on the left side of the engine compartment near the battery.
On the tank body is marked ?�MAX?� and ?�MIN?�. When warmed up to normal temperature, the engine fluid level should be about a label ?�MAX?�. When the engine is cold the fluid level must not be below a label ?�MIN?�.

NOTE
Fluid level power steering, check with the engine off.

1. Unscrew the tank ...
2. ... and add the required amount of hydraulic fluid.
3. Turn the plug and wipe drips.
