Removal, installation and check of the canister purge valve

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug "minus" of the storage battery.
2. Press the plastic latch Disconnect the harness from the canister purge valve.
3. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the valve fittings.
4. Press the screwdriver spring clamp valve ...
5. ... and remove the valve from the bracket.

NOTE
It looks like the car removed from the canister purge solenoid valve. Note his marking to the replacement valve to set the same.

6. To check the valve, attach to a discharge valve fitting medical syringe (it is used as a pump, and the vacuum supply hose to the valve, you can use as an adapter for connection of a syringe). Push the plunger of the syringe - in the valve pressure to be created (you can feel the aspiration of the syringe plunger back to its original position).
7. Then connect the valve to the conclusions of a DC source voltage of 12 V - the valve should open and the pressure should disappear (syringe plunger will move without resistance all the way). Otherwise, replace the valve.
8. Install the canister purge valve in the reverse order of removal.
