To identify the vehicle serves as an identification number (VIN). He applied to the vehicle body in two places: on the central pillar in the lower part of the body on the floor and under the front passenger seat. The location of the numbers on the B-pillar indicated by the arrow in Fig. 1.3, location on cars GI-2 cm. Fig. 1.4 and 1.5.

The identification number (VIN) is the seventeen position. Number structure shown in Fig. 1.7 in Table. 1.4 describes the decoding of numbers.

Engines of cars are equipped with an identification number. Places of their application (see. Arrow) is shown in Fig. 1.8, 1.9, 1.10.
The identification number of the engine has six positions. Structure identification number shown in Fig. 1.11, its interpretation is given in Table. 15.

Transmission car also assigned an identification number. Place of application numbers (see. Arrows) on manual transmission shown in Fig. 1.12, on an automatic gearbox - on Fig. 1.13. Table. 1.6 contains a key identification number.
