Removing and checking the trailing arm rear suspension
Withdrawal
Disconnect the parking brake cable from the trailing arm bracket rear suspension (Fig. 4.52).
Remove the bolt control arm to the knuckle of the rear wheel (Fig. 4.53). Support the rear crossmember, setting a jack under the central part of it, then remove the bolts cross-beam to a body. Remove the rear crossmember with wishbones.

|
With a special tool (09551-25000) press in the new bushing in the trailing arm (Fig. 4.55).

|
NOTE Fitting the sleeve by positioning it relative to the lever, as shown in Figure 4.56. |
Replacing control arm bushings

|
Install special tool (09545-28100 and 09545-25000) on the transverse link (Fig. 4.57). Remove the control arm bushing. Wet the surface with soapy water and a contact sleeve arm. With a special tool (09545-25000) press in the new bushing in the wishbone.
Replacing the rear stabilizer bar Disconnect the stabilizer on the rear strut.

Remove the stabilizer bar.
Check
| Fig. 4.59. Check the torque of the ball joint stabilizer
|
In the presence of cracks or breaks a protective cover of a ball joint, replace it and add grease in the ball joint. Several times shake a finger of the spherical hinge stabilizer. Screw the self-locking nut on a finger of the spherical hinge and then measure the torque of a finger. Standard value: 3.5-4.0 Nm. If the torque exceeds the upper limit of the nominal value, replace the stabilizer link. If the torque is less than the lower limit of the nominal value, the ball joint is considered to be fit for further use as long as there is no binding and excessive backlash in the hinge.
