Removal, check and installation of an inlet collector
Withdrawal
Disconnect from the throttle body hose crankcase ventilation (Fig. 2.328).
Disconnect from the throttle body coolant hose. Disconnect the hose valve PCV and brake booster vacuum hose.

|
Remove the support bracket of the receiver intake manifold (Fig. 2.331). Before disconnecting the fuel hose from the high pressure fuel manifold relieve residual pressure in the system.
Disconnect the harness connector at the fuel injectors (Fig. 2.334).
Remove the fuel manifold with injectors and fuel pressure regulator (Fig. 2.335).
ATTENTION Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing the reservoir. |
Disconnect the connector coolant temperature sensor (Fig. 2.336).
Check intake manifold and receiver Check the details for cracks and damage. Check the condition of the air passage channel, channel outlet and inlet coolant nozzles and vacuum hoses. Clean if necessary
Using Rulers and feeler gauge, measure the warping of mating plane intake manifold (Fig. 2.338). The nominal value of flatness: less than 0.15 mm. Limit: 0.20 mm.
