Removal, check and installation of the air filter

Withdrawal

Remove the air inlet duct from the air filter and resonator.

Disconnect the air flow sensor connector.

Remove the three screws on the air filter housing.

Remove the air filter.

Remove the air inlet duct air flow sensor.

ATTENTION

Do not carry or suspend the sensor on the wires.

Check

Check housing cover and air filter element for deformation, corrosion or damage.

Check the air intake duct for damage.

Check the filter element in the absence of a contamination, pollution or damage. If the filter element is dirty or clogged slightly, then remove dust and dirt blowing compressed air from the outside (the side facing the intake manifold) (Fig. 2.192).

Setting

Install an air filter in the reverse order of removal.
