Removal, check and installation oplivoprovodov lines and drain the fuel vapor

The components of the fuel lines and drain the fuel vapor
Fig. 2.394. The components of the fuel lines and drain the fuel vapor

Withdrawal
Remove the filler cap of the fuel tank to reduce the pressure in the tank. Lift the car and remove the fuel pump connector.

ATTENTION
Reduce the residual pressure in the fuel system before disconnecting the fuel lines or hoses: this will prevent splashing of fuel.

In the process of disconnecting the fuel pipes or hoses, cover the place with a clean cloth.
Remove the screws that secure the fuel pump, then remove the fuel pump assembly from the fuel tank.
Disconnect the hose and fuel return line.
Disconnect the hose and remove the fuel vapor line.

Check
Check the fuel tubes and hoses for cracks, deformation and damage.
Check canister purge solenoid valve to clogging.
Check the fuel pump assembly to the absence of contamination and damage.

Setting
Connect the hose of the EVAP and a hose of return of fuel.

Connection diagram of fuel hoses
Fig. 2.395. Connection diagram of fuel hoses

If the fuel line has a stepped structure, connect the fuel hose as shown in Figure 2.395.
If the fuel line is not a stepped structure, you just need to put the hose firmly on the fuel line.
Install the fuel pump assembly and secure it with the mounting bolts.

Removal, check and installation of the fuel tank
Withdrawal
To relieve the residual pressure from the fuel lines and the high pressure hoses and disconnect the connector of the fuel pump, then start the engine and let it run. After the engine has their own stall, turn the ignition switch to ?OFF? (?Off.").

NOTE
To prevent splashing of fuel make sure that any residual pressure in the fuel high pressure is reduced before disconnecting the main fuel tubes and hoses.

Disconnect the negative (-) terminals of the battery.
Remove the filler cap of the fuel tank.

Return fuel hoses and fuel vapor recovery system
Fig. 2.397. Return fuel hoses and fuel vapor recovery system

Disconnect the fuel return hose and hose EVAP (Fig. 2.397).
Disconnect the fuel pump connector.
Disconnect the fuel high-pressure hose from the fuel tank.

Tape mounting the fuel tank
Fig. 2.398. Tape mounting the fuel tank

Loosen the two self-locking nuts and remove the two tapes securing the tank (Fig. 2.398).
Disconnect the hose filler cap and the drain hose from the fuel tank.
Remove the hose vapor recovery system and fuel tank.
Check
Check fuel pipes and hoses for cracks or damage.
Check the valve cover and the condition of the filler cap of the fuel tank.
Check the fuel tank for deformation, cracks or corrosion.
Check the fuel tank free of dust or dirt particles inside.
Check the fuel filter pump in the tank for damage or contamination.
Check that the two-way valve.

Check two-way valve
Fig. 2.399. Check two-way valve

Using a manual vacuum pump, check the operation of two-way valve (Fig. 2.399).

Setting
Connect the drain hose and the hose filler neck to the fuel tank so that the hose was worn on the tube to a distance of about 40 mm from its edge.

Driving filler hose connection
Fig. 2.400. Driving filler hose connection

When connecting the filler hose, make sure that the end of the hose with the short straight section located on the side of the tube of the fuel tank (Fig. 2.400).
Make sure both tape properly cover the fuel tank. Install the fuel tank in place, tighten the self-locking nuts to the end, that is, as long as the ends of the strips not touch the car body.
Connect the hose of the fuel vapor recovery system and the return hose. When attaching the hose to the tube, make sure that the hose is put on the tube, as shown.

The circuit connecting a high pressure hose to the fuel pump
Fig. 2.401. The circuit connecting a high pressure hose to the fuel pump

Connect the fuel hose to the high pressure fuel pump, first tighten the union nut by hand, then tighten the nut to the specified torque. Make sure that the fuel hose is not kinked (Fig. 2.401).
Tightening torque of nut of the fuel high-pressure hose: 30-40 Nm.

NOTE
When tightening the nut, twisting and bending the fuel line is not allowed to prevent damage to the fuel pump nozzle.

Connect the fuel pump.
