The nameplate

The identification number (VIN) - is used to register the car and resolve all legal questions about his identity. The number is indicated on the identification plate located at three locations (Fig. 1.2):

- From the engine to the divider panel between the engine compartment and passenger compartment;

- On the upper part of the dashboard, so that the number could be seen through the windshield (optional);

- At the bottom of the driver's door opening.

Engine number

The engine number is stamped on the cylinder block (upper part), as shown in Figure 1.3.
