14 - nut, 75-90 Nm; 15 - slot the ball joint of the lower arm; 16 - nut, 200-280 Nm; 17 - knuckle; 18 - nut, 35-45 Nm

Lower arm front suspension is shown in Fig. 5.8.
Loosen the nuts of the front wheel. Lift the front of the car and establish on supports.
Remove the front wheel.
Loosen the nut of the spherical hinge of the lower control arm, but do not remove it completely.

Use puller 09455-21000 (1) for pressing ball joint socket of the lower arm
Fig. 5.9. Use puller 09455-21000 (1) for pressing ball joint socket of the lower arm

Squeeze puller 09455-21000 finger of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever from the slot (Fig. 5.9).
Remove the two screws and remove the ball joint from the knuckle.

Location bolts fork shock absorber to the lower arm
Fig. 5.2. Location bolts fork shock absorber to the lower arm

Remove the nut and remove the bolt fork shock absorber to the lower arm (see. Fig. 5.2).
Remove the nut rod stabilizer bar and disconnect draft of the stabilizer of the lower arm.

Location hub bolts ?«A?» of the lower arm
Fig. 5.10. Location hub bolts ?A? of the lower arm

Remove the two screws on the sleeve ?A? of the lower arm (Fig. 5.10).

Location hub bolts ?«G?» of the lower arm
Fig. 5.11. Location hub bolts ?G? of the lower arm

Remove the bolt sleeve ?G? of the lower arm (Fig. 5.11).
Remove the lower arm assembly.

Dismantling
Remove the connector with the lower arm.

Using special tool 09545-21100 (1) and 09551-3100 (2) for pressing the shock absorber mounting sleeves
Fig. 5.12. Using special tool 09545-21100 (1) and 09551-3100 (2) for pressing the shock absorber mounting sleeves

Special tools 09545- 21100, 09551-3100 squeeze damper mounting sleeve (Fig. 5.12).
The special tool 09624-34000 squeeze sleeve ?G? of the lower arm.

Check
Check the bushing for wear and destruction.
Check the lower arm in the absence of bending or damage.
Check the ball joint dust cover for cracks.
Check all bolts.
Check the torque that must be applied to crank pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever:
- If there are cracks in the protective cover, replace it and add grease in the joint;
- Several times rocking from side to side of the pin of the ball joint of the lower arm;
- Measure the torque required for the rotation trunnion ball joint of the lower arm;
- If the torque is below the permissible value, replace the ball joint;
- If the torque exceeds the allowable value, the ball joint can be reused if the torque does not exceed 1.5 Nm.
Torque - 0.2-1.0 Nm.

A WARNING
Torque check at room temperature and speed ball joint stud 0.5-2 min -1 after swaying sideways at an angle of 3 ?.

Check the torque that must be applied to crank pin of the spherical hinge of draft of the stabilizer:
- If there are cracks in the protective cover, replace it and add grease in the joint;
- Several times rocking from side to side trunnion ball joint draft of the stabilizer;
- Measure the torque required for the rotation trunnion ball joint draft of the stabilizer;
- If the torque is above the permissible value, replace the stabilizer rod;
- If the torque is below the allowable value, the ball joint can be reused if it does not stick and is not excessive backlash.
Torque - 1,7-3,2 Nm.

A WARNING
Torque check at room temperature and speed ball joint stud 0.5-2 min -1 after swaying sideways at an angle of 3 ?.

Assembly
Special tools 09545- 21100, 09551-31000 press in shock absorber mounting sleeve.

Installation position sleeve ?«G?» in the lower arm
Fig. 5.13. Installation position sleeve ?G? in the lower arm

Place the sleeve ?G? of the lower arm at an angle marked on the figure. 5.13.
The special tool 09624-34000 zapressuyte sleeve ?G? in the lower arm.
Install the connector on the lower arm.

Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.

The protrusion (A) of the threaded rod stabilizer
Fig. 5.14. The protrusion (A) of the threaded rod stabilizer

Set stabilizer rod so that the distance A (Fig. 5.14) is equal to 3-5 mm.
